Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through the Imperial Riding webshop by consumers and businesses.

A consumer is any natural person who acts for purposes outside of his or her business or professional activities. A business is a natural person, legal entity or partnership acting in the course of a profession or business.

For businesses, these conditions also apply to future business relationships, without needing to be referred to again. Deviating or additional conditions from the business only become part of the agreement if Imperial Riding has expressly agreed to them in writing.

Agreement

The purchase contract is concluded with Imperial Riding.

By placing products in our webshop, we make a non-binding offer to purchase these items. You can first add products to your shopping cart without obligation and adjust your details at any time before finally placing the order.

The agreement is concluded once you click the order button and thereby accept the offer. After placing the order, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

Contract language and data storage

The available languages for concluding the agreement are Dutch, English and German.

We store the contract data and send you the order details by e-mail. If available, you can also find your order via your customer account.

Delivery

Shipping costs are stated separately during checkout.

Delivery takes place exclusively via shipping. It is not possible to pick up orders.

We do not deliver to post office boxes or parcel lockers.

Payment

Imperial Riding offers various payment methods, depending on the country of delivery.

Credit card

At Imperial Riding, you can securely pay with Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Payment is processed via a secure SSL connection. Your credit card will be charged once your order has been shipped.

3D Secure

For extra security, we use Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. Depending on your bank, additional verification may be requested during the payment process.

PayPal

You can also pay via PayPal. For this, you need a PayPal account or you can use guest checkout, if available in your country.

Klarna

If you choose to pay afterwards via Klarna, Klarna will send you further payment information by e-mail. Any costs for late payment will be charged by Klarna.

iDEAL

Customers from the Netherlands can pay via iDEAL. During checkout, you will automatically be redirected to the trusted payment environment of your own bank.

Bancontact

Customers from Belgium can pay via Bancontact.

Warranty and complaints

The statutory warranty rights apply.

If an item is delivered damaged or defective, we request that you contact our customer service as soon as possible via the contact form or by e-mail.

For consumers, the statutory warranty period applies. For businesses, the warranty period is one year from delivery of the goods.

Warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, misuse or damage caused by improper maintenance.

Liability

Imperial Riding is fully liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body or health.

In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for damages resulting from a breach of essential contractual obligations. In such a case, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the agreement.

For other damages, liability is excluded, unless otherwise stipulated by law.

Dispute resolution

Imperial Riding is not obliged and not willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure via a consumer arbitration board.

Final provisions

If you are a business within the meaning of the applicable commercial law, the competent court is located at the Imperial Riding location.

All agreements are governed exclusively by the applicable national law.
